With close to 20 years of experience in heritage management, Andrew brings extensive expertise to the field. He began his career in the mining regions of Western Australia and has since held public sector positions procuring and reviewing Cultural Heritage Management Plans and permits under the Aboriginal Heritage Act. More recently, Andrew led large-scale heritage management programs within the public sector. His comprehensive background ensures he delivers expert advice and high-quality assessments tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
Andrew is a registered Heritage Advisor. Holding master's level qualifications in both anthropology and archaeology, Andrew possesses a comprehensive understanding of heritage management in Australia. This dual expertise allows Andrew to approach heritage management with an informed perspective—ensuring culturally sensitive and contextually accurate assessments that consider both the tangible and intangible elements of heritage.
Spatial
Andrew is a specialist in spatial analysis, with expertise in both vector and raster data processing. Proficient in tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and geospatial Python (including GeoPandas, Rasterio, and Shapely), Andrew applies spatial tools to inform his planning, compliance, and heritage assessment activities.
